Tele-care

Tele-care ministers assist our pastoral staff by calling our regular church attenders who show up absent from church. The Tele-care ministry’s coordinator is Keri De Jesus. She can be reached at the church office at 305-251-0876. Keri oversees our Tele-care ministers who make the phone calls. If you would like to join this ministry, please call the church office.

Translation

This ministry provides translation equipment for all our services whether it is into Spanish or English. The Sunday afternoon service is translated from Spanish into English. Elsa Rodd oversees this ministry as coordinator. If you would like to join this ministry, please call the church office.

Security

The Security ministry provides an extra level of protection for our attenders. Security team members wear  a badge with the word security on it. The security team carry radios for the convenience of quick communication to insure immediate response for emergencies.

Berean

The Berean biblical studies come under the covering of Assemblies of God Global University. As a study center we provide a class setting in which to do your correspondence. Preparing ministers for certification or layman’s certificate, if so desired.

Level One takes about two years to complete eleven courses. Ministers then must complete a “call letter” before receiving the application for licensing.

Level Two also takes two years of study to complete an additional eleven courses. Upon completing all the requirements you will be given the opportunity to vote in the General Councils.

Level Three is an ordination level and requires separate application after completing the required coursework. To become an ordained minister in the Assemblies of God takes about six years of study.

Sonshiners

The Sonshiners’ are made up of individuals who are 50 years young and older. Sonshiners also include seniors who start at age 70 and up. We do special outings together, and go on retreats during the year.

This ministry has three Connection Groups that meet:
